Zulus meet with Adriatic League, Australians and hear strange rumors. Fate of a continent decided by World Powers....
"The tale of the Australian meeting"
The stories of a great tribe from the East are true! We first met these "Australians" along the rocky shores on the southern tip of the new world. They were a most jovial and enthusiatic bunch and immediately presented a scroll that would proclaim peace between our nations. They asked our local emissary to sign it. Not suprisingly, this took the emissary quite off guard for the two peoples had just met! Even had the emissary felt this appropriate, he was not authorized to sign such a document without first getting King Shakeem's approval. And so he sent the orange men away. Before their departure, they were also warned of how treacherous the new world was and to be wary. For some reason, these actions were initially interpreted as a sign of aggression, but the Australians would soon learn that this was not the case.
Years later, the word arrived to Shakeem in the motherland. After considering how vulnerable his colonies in the new world might be to an attack, the King felt that signing a Peace treaty would provide some insurance for his people in the west. The word was sent out and the Australians were again consulted. This time, their document was signed and with it a gift was bestowed. 50 gold coins were given as a tribute to Consul Keatings intelligence in seeking peace with the Zulus.
Several years later, the two great nations had another meeting to discuss territory. Much was accomplished in this session. The great southern portion (S. America) of the new world was to be divided in half. The west side was named Keatings Land and the East Shakeems. Both nations briefly discussed protecting each others territories in the new world, but another meeting will have to be scheduled to continue it, as time ran out.
Talks with the Adriatic League
Discussions with these people of the Northern hempishere have just begun. We have signed a peace treaty with them, but have yet to decide anything of great importance. A world traveller, of the notorious Hapsburg family is currently staying at the Palace in Tanzania as our guest. We gave him the best accomodations offered in the entire continent. From windows to his west, he can see the newly built Pyramids. Through the Eastern windows, and the balcony, he can see the fire burning on our great Lighthouse. We are in the process of conversating currently. Shakeem hopes to accomplish something positive of the talks in the coming years.......
Zulu Nation rumored to be overthrown in stature!
We have only heard briefly of the Purple people, who are known to our Australian friends as the "Mongols", but it is rumored that they boast an even larger army than that of General Molefi Keti! We've also heard that they have more cities in their control than the Zulu Nation. The Adriatics tell us that these people feast on dogs and cats. We must say that the picture that is painted in our mind is most ominous. They sound like absolutely retchid barbarians after hearing stories from the Europeans. We can only hope that when we finally meet them that they don't live up to their reputation.
King Shakeem becomes Consul Shakeem
In a bloodless revolution, the King decided to convert his Monarchy to a more reasonable and fair Republic. Since this is what his people desired, Shakeem has responded. Shakeem proudly states, "We are not first in the world for approval rating for nothing!" The people were so pleased in fact that 12 of the 23 cities threw huge celebrations for days and days. City life instantly became more attractive apparently as countrymen from the surrounding areas began to settle on the outskirts of our fine cities, effectively increasing our Nations population as it never has before. Civil Servant Uzum says that he expects this trend to continue in the coming decades and also expects that our nation will assume the largest population in the world once again. (Which can been claimed by Australia in weeks 2,3 and 4).
