Appointments are generally scheduled for one hour.  Prior to each treatment, patients have time to talk about how they've been, how they feel, and what's happening in their lives - information essential in determining appropriate treatment.  The pulses are read and needles are applied.  The response to the treatment will be assessed by again reading the pulses.

Often, after treatment, the patient will spend a few minutes relaxing to allow the energetic changes to settle in.  Dietary and other lifestyle recommendations may be discussed at appropriate times throughout treatment.
