TechQuest is an online technical aptitude test portal. The portal helps one assess his/her knowledge in subjects related to computer science. Computer Science students can greatly benefit from this portal. This portal is designed using HTML, Perl, MS-Access.

Only registered users can answer tests online. Also New users can register. several topics are listed and the user can choose one among them. Scores and rank of the users are maintained. TechQuest has the following features:

1. New users can register online.
2. The users can view their scores and ranking.
3. The users can view the standings of the other users.
4. The users can update their information.
5. Users can select a topic of their choice.
6. Users cannot answer the same topic twice.
7. Answers once submitted cannot be changed.
8. The webmaster can add new questions to the database

To run the CGI-Perl scripts a http daemon server is required. The server(whichever you use) must be configured properly to run the project.
