The projects listed in this section were carried out as a part of the curriculum prescribed by Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, Belgaum. The source code of these projects can be downloaded for free. Also one is free to modify these programs according to his/her needs. Any suggestions to improve these programs are always welcome.
Inetware - A System Administrators Tool

iNetWare is a system administrators tool that is used to monitor and control the remote systems connected in a LAN. The software is based on a client server model. The features available include chat, voice chat, remote explorer, remote control panel, task manager, remote desktop and IP monitor.In addition to these there are several other features. This was carried out as a project work for 8th semester. I have not put up the source code of this project on purpose since I did not have the consent of my team members.

Provides for paperless transactions such as lending ,returning and late return fine calculation.

J2DGE - A 2D Graphics Editor

J2DGE is a 2D graphics package that is developed in Java on Windows platform. J2DGE supports all the features supported by most of the graphics editors. However only 2D objects can be created and edited. It supports all the basic drawing features and editing features. It also allows you to save and open image files.

TFTP is a file transfer utility that can be used to transfer files between two computers connected in a network (LAN). TFTP is implemented in C(Linux platform). It is based on a client-server model. Multiple clients can perform transaction with the server concurrently. The protocol used is UDP.

ABNORA-X is a full screen text editor developed on a Linux platform. The text editor is programmed in C making use of the curses library provided by the curses package for the front end. The editor can be used only on Linux platform. The editor has all the basic features.
