Sleepers is a movie about four kids who live Hell's Kitchen, New York set in 1966. After a prank gone wrong they are sentenced to the Wilkenson Center for Boys. Where they recieve a punishment that no one should get. After they get out they are never the same. Each man deals with it in their own way. Eventhough its a long movie at about 2 1/2 hours, its a very good movie with great performances by Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Jason Patric, and Joe Perrino, and Brad Renfro. Directed by Barry Levinson. Levinson also wrote the script and produced it along with Steve Golin. The script was based on Lorenzo Carcaterra's controversal novel.
