DE Map Strategies

There are a lot of de maps out there, but I'm only going to cover the original ones. For people who don't know the de maps are the ones in Counter-Strike that the terrorists have a bomb and they try to blow up a certain area and the CT's try and stop them.

de_aztec: First off this is in my opinion the best level in the game. Now to strategies. I suggest using weapons that are strong and can get through doors or boxes. There are a lot of chances that you can shoot through them and get easy kills.

de_cbble: I suggest using long range weapons. Lot's of the spaces are wide open and there are a lot of places you can camp and pick off easy targets with the AWP.

de_dust: The most used map on Counter-Strike. Your weapon of choice (no pun intended) will depend on where you like to go. If you like to stay back and wait for the enemy I would suggest long range, but if you would like to rush into it by all means use a close combat weapon.

de_dust2: Somewhat the same strategy as de_dust, but I would take a long range weapon over a close combat weapon here. There are just so many spots you can pick off people from a long way away.

de_inferno: For T's I would definitely use close combat weapons. It seems like they get in close for the kill in this level, but for CT's there are a lot of places to snipe so if sniping is your way then pick up a long range weapon.

de_nuke: I would definitely suggest close combat weapons for both classes in this level. I've noticed that there are hardly any places to snipe and most of the combat goes on inside the warehouse so I would pick an automatic.

de_prodigy: Most likely you will want a close combat weapon for this level, but if there are a few places to snipe most for T's at the beginning of the level, but it's your choice.

de_rotterdam: Kind of a mix here. Depending on what route you take that's the weapon you'll need. So experiment with both classes against bots to find out what works best for you.

de_train: For both classes it's another toss up here. I would personally suggest kind of a mix. For the CT's buy an automatic with a scope and the same for T's. You'll notice that you don't need the most powerful scope, but a mini one is a big help.

de_vertigo: Campers paradise. There aren't a lot of places to snipe so I would mostly suggest close combat weapons especially if you're going to camp. There are so many places to camp in this level so just keep an automatic and when the enemy walks by shoot them.
