Tournaments

Unfortunately the first tournament did not work out and as of right now there will be no tournament, but there will be one in the near future so if you want you can read the rules to prepare.

1) Punkbuster is required! This is an absolute because these tournaments wouldn't be any fun if there were cheaters. Also bots are also forbidden. If you get caught using one you will be banned from the clan! I know it's harsh, but that's the only way to keep those things out of the tournaments.

2) Rounds last 2 days. At the start you'll have 2 days to finish your first round. Contact the other player and set up a time and server. If you try to contact the other player and they won't respond and the deadline is up e-mail me the next day and the person who backed out has one day to e-mail me with a reason for not showing up. If they don't then the on time person will automatically advance.

3) Set your own playing rules. I'll let the members decide how they want to find out who is the best player. If you want you can play to 10, 20, 40, 100, etc. I don't care. Both players have to agree on the rules though.

4) Make the pings as fair as possible. This'll be pretty important. I suggest that if you have a high speed connection and you're playing a 56k user then you might as well let them create the server and play on it. You'll still have a ping around 80 or 100 and that's still really good. The 56k user won't stand a chance with a 300 or so ping. If it's high speed vs. high speed. Then just figure out a way you want to play it out so both players feel comfortable. Now on 56k vs. 56k this is a little tricky. I actually suggest one 56k user start a game and the other join. Of course the one who started it would have a huge advantage, so I would play a round of like 20-30 min. on that server, then let the other 56k user start a server and play a round for the same amount of time and the person with the most combined wins should be the winner. It's your choice though members and you can decide together how you want to play it out.

As you can see all the slots are empty, but just be checking the site and your e-mail boxes often. I will say it on the site and I'll e-mail it out announcing when the tournament will begin.
