Terrorist Strategies

Ah the terrorists. These happy people love spreading fear and terror throughout the world. Anyways they are also a very deadly team in counter-strike with an array of powerful weapons and other equipment. Here I'm going to list a few good strategies that can only be used by the terrorists.

Hide the bomb: This is a very good trick to learn and it can determine whether your team wins or loses. It's pretty self-explanatory, but I'll go into a little detail on it. If you have the bomb or a teammate does, try and get to the bombsite and start to look around for a spot you can place the bomb but is not in the open. Find it and then plant the bomb there. Even if it's not that hidden, if it takes a couple extra seconds for a CT to find it that could be a costly two seconds and the bomb would go off. The best places to put them are on top of boxes or anything that's not on the ground. Experiment and look around for the best place to hide it.

Guard the bomb: This is very important to do in the game. After you plant the bomb don't just run away and expect to win. Find a good place to hide and wait for the CT's to come and try to disarm the bomb. I suggest waiting in a place behind a box or behind a nearby wall. If the CT's come in another way listen and try to hear them disarming the bomb, then run out and you'll get an easy kill. Once the bomb starts beeping rapidly then you can run away and try to save your life.

Hide the hostages: This is a very sneaky trick that can really piss off the CT's. If you are playing a cs level then go to where you are holding the hostages and take one of them with you. Then go to another place in the level and just leave them there. If it's well hidden than the CT's probably won't find it and it will give you more time to kill them or just wait for time to run out. Either way you win.

Pick a good player design: This isn't of the most importance, but it can be useful. If you've ever noticed the CT's actually have an advantage in this category because of their dark clothes, and the T's got stuck with player models that all of somewhat bright clothes. There are a couple of good T designs in my opinion that are somewhat darker than the others. Pick a design that's not the arctic one or the arab one. These two are somewhat easy to see even in the dark so you can't hide that easily. Especially do not pick the arctic design, you are covered in a white snow suit that's easily visible by everyone.
