We have been deceived.

Sites like this exist because so many of us know that we are being deceived. Most of the articles here are pointing out the author's discovery of some part of the deceit or another. We all seem to see just part of it from where we stand. Taken altogether it would seem that everything around us is an illusion. It is!

You believe what you do because someone told you to believe it in order to serve their own agenda. Their agenda was formed in much the same way. When we trace the route of these agendas back to their source, they go back to a god. Even all of our godless science is backed by "In god we trust" on every dollar that pays its way. It is the gods who are the source of our misunderstanding.

The gods have played all the parts; The benevolent god and the warrior god, devil and savior. The priests maintain a docile flock that can be made available to the generals and/or politicians to use as they see fit. They can be converted into soldiers or laborers or consumers as needed. The gods control enemies and friends alike. It is easy for them to keep us at war.

What is the Truth?

The foundation for all life are the single celled, spore born life forms that arrived here first from space. They have built the biosphere. Not by accident, but on purpose, according to Plan. They are the original Intelligence on this Planet. That's most easily described as Mother Nature.

Later arrivals added crucial new genetic material to fuel evolution. Some became our gods. They created and modified plants and animals.

Modern science supports my contentions... sort of. The original name for the theory taught in the time of Socrates, is panspermia, now being called Cosmic Ancestry.
Quoted from the introduction:

"Cosmic Ancestry is a new theory pertaining to evolution and the origin of life on Earth. It holds that life on Earth was seeded from space, and that life's evolution to higher forms depends on genetic programs that come from space. (It accepts the Darwinian account of evolution that does not require new genetic programs.) It is a wholly scientific, testable theory for which evidence is accumulating."
This excellent website has links and discussion which provide a great deal of sound scientific evidence.
Again from the intro:
Starting in the 1970s, British astronomers Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe rekindled interest in panspermia. By careful spectroscopic observation and analysis of light from distant stars they found new evidence, traces of life, in the intervening dust.
Spores are everywhere.

They fill the atmosphere to the top, and fly off on the Solar winds. They cause problems for space stations. They permeate the rock. Finding a place where there are no spores is not easy.

Where I differ with the scientific view stated above is that science in general, and this version in particular, does not recognize microorganisms as intelligent beings. They are locked into the idea that intelligence requires a brain of a certain size and complexity to exist. Our kind of intelligence obviously uses a brain like ours, yet to really believe that all the rest of this glorious biosphere around us is some kind of accident and void of intelligence, is to suspend that very intelligence and take a great leap of blind faith. The natural world is brimming with intelligent action.

Intelligence

Human beings possess a unique intelligence, but it is not superior to any other form of intelligence. All forms of intelligence are subsets of the underlying intelligence that is the whole thing. We are like a wireless phone on the internet... we are a sub-set of the whole network. We are specialized for the tasks before us. We are very clever, but not in the same league as the network itself.

Intelligence permeates the Universe. Universal Intelligence is very general... All knowing, Divine Law, The Creator of the Universe, The Big ALL, kind of thing. We are all built of that Divine Stuff, but we are a local adaptation created and maintained for a specific purpose. Like that wireless phone, we are lean and mobile, carrying tremendous onboard capabilities, but we are as nothing compared to the network. We are nothing compared to the server that hands out the streams. We are ants in the hill. But just like our wireless phone, we think we are hot shit. Meanwhile, the big network goes on about conducting the real business of Life, much like internet, partly driven by a huge number of participating customers.

Microbes Rule

Our idea of intelligence is backwards. Our access to the larger intelligence has been cut off so that we can focus on our tasks. In order to accomplish our mission we have been given a strong sense of self... ego. It blinds us to the truth of our nature, but makes us better at our job.

Who are the gods?

The most vocal of those spore born species are the hallucinogenic fungi. The two with the most influence as gods to mankind are the amanita muscaria and stropharia cubenisis mushrooms. The fungi that produce alcohol are probably the next most influential. There are undoubtedly many species who have contributed to the mix, but these three have left a comprehensive record of their roles in the words, artifacts and symbols of civilization.

Ultimate Genetic Engineering

We have learned to manipulate the DNA to our own ends. It is obvious from examining that DNA that it is not something that could happen by accident. This code was created by master code writers. It is code that carries on, rewriting itself as it goes.

Let's do some imagining. Say we really get really good at this genetic engineering stuff. Suppose the earth were to wither away and we had to rebuild the DNA of the human race so it could survive a dead planet. Would we have to preserve the whole animal? Would we want to redesign the physical body? Cut down on the tissue they might have to drag into weightless space? Maybe it would be possible to alter the whole reproductive system to make it more efficient. Could the brain be broken down into a system that decentralized the intelligence into something more like a network? Instead of one big brain doing the thinking, an infinite number of small brains all linked holographically. In the end you would probably end up with something very much like the spore born creatures that are the subject of these articles.

Once on a fertile Planet, you would need to build larger, more complex creatures to do your bidding. They would be built to survive the environment encountered.

Build a Robot

If you or I where writing this code, we would make sure we had some semblance of control over our creations. In fact, what good are robots anyway if you haven't got control. Given the level of sophistication that these code builders show in their work, we must assume that they have COMPLETE CONTROL over all of their creations.

They have conquered space and time and flourish in the Universe. They have done so by using strategies that work. The human race is one of those strategies. We are doing our job.

Don't see it? It wouldn't be much of a deception if it was easy to spot, now would it? In "On the Right Hand of God", is presented some of the evidence to support my contention. Or go back to the first article in the "Who are the gods?" series.

Meanwhile, enjoy your gifts. See and hear and feel. Soak in Nature. Enjoy your family, friends and neighbors. Love your cells. Love your gods. Heal.

They have patiently taught us the secrets of life. They have shown us how the source code works. Even our arrogant belief that we figured it out for ourselves does not diminish the fact that we have been taught everything we know. It is in the Plan that we should know. It is in the Plan that we would be able to pass this knowledge freely amongst ourselves. It is in the Plan that you and I, who have never seen a DNA molecule, are able to grasp the concept. It is in the Plan that you and I should ponder that concept and shiver in wonder at its grace and beauty. It is all in the Plan.

More on the way.
