Card Layout
While each Hot Death UNO card has it's own characteristics, they all conform to a similar standard layout, which is explained as follows:
- Title.
- Suit.
- Rank.
- Description Box.
- Description.
- Hold Status.
Title designates in some fashion the purpose of the card (though the sense is sometimes muddled). Examples include: Draw Two, Mystery Draw, Harvester of Sorrows, and more.
Possible suits of cards: Blue, Green, Red, or Yellow. This is used to match cards on the Discard pile.
Rank constitutes either a Number or Symbol. (0-9, D, S, and so on.) This is used to match cards on the Discard pile, points @ end of hand, and sometimes the number of cards one must draw.
The Description Box may appear as needed on some cards (currently on all specifically HDU cards). This area is set aside for the card description.
The card description gives a brief (sometimes choppy) paragraph on important actions/reactions the card is used for/with.
If there is a small white hand in the Hold Status section, the card does not have to be discarded in order for its effects to be utilized.
