Glastnost
Glastnost is Russian for "openness." A player laying the Glastnost card makes the player of his
choice lay all his cards down face up on the table for everyone to see. The victim of the Glasnost
card does not have to keep face up any cards he draws after that point, but the initial cards must
remain face up. At the end of the hand, the Glastnost card is worth 75 points.
Defenses: A player facing the Glastnost has the option of playing the
Holy Defender, Virus,
or cards. Should the player defend himself
with the Holy Defender, the effects of the card go to the next person in the sequence of play.
The Virus will cause both the owner of the Glastnost and the owner of the Virus to display their
hands. The card will cause the owner of the Glastnost card to display his hand,
instead of the owner of the .
