"Radicals:" Objectivism, Neo-Tech, and Terra Libra

"Objectivism" is the name given to the philosophy developed by Ayn Rand. It has influenced many radical thinkers, and such notables as Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan (who seems to violate in on a daily basis...) It was when Harry realized that his own conclusions about life required that he seek to live his life by Objectivist principles, that he knew he must "come out of the [atheist] closet" and declare his nonbelief, even though some would disapprove.

As his fortieth birthday present to himself, Harry The Librarian flew from Massachusetts to Las Vegas for the 1987 Neo-Tech World Summit. He was referred to from the podium as a "Fully Integrated, Honest, Neo-Tech Man," by Rosa Maria, spouse of Neo-Tech founder "Frank R. Wallace." This was in response to his "guilt" over working in a publicly-funded library. At least the library's value-for-value connection is real. In most New England towns, the people get to vote annually on their willingness to support the library with their tax dollars.

Harry is a charter member of the Research Institute for Biological Immortality, an early aspect of Neo-Tech's promise of living forever, in prosperity.
