I’m writing this on my laptop, it’s January 2, it obviously still works, the world is still revolving, no planes fell from the sky and unfortunately my credit cards still have to be paid.

I’m usually prepared for power outages, earthquakes and other emergencies because I was raised by parents who endured starvation and war. They came to this country enticed by it’s the history of freedom and new beginnings. Whenever I start a new business, I’m reminded of the pioneers who settled here, of the trading posts and stores, the early photographers and artists who captured this history.

The Hamilton road area is rich in such history. Entrepreneurs, family businesses, evena street car! This is our first newsletter and we hope inform you of the progress and ongoing business of the HRABA as well as spotlite the various businesses and individuals of our membership. I am excited to watch and see our own history unfold and I wish you all success in the new year.
