Message from the Membership Committee

Your membership committee has been hard at work. We are planning on going out on another enrollment drive the week of January 24th and, thanks to the tireless efforts of people like our president George Payne, we expect to be signing up our 60th member this week. An amazing feet given the fact that the number of paid memberships stood at less than 30 one month ago. Memberships are much more important to our association than the actual dollar value of the dues. Without significant numbers, we do not have the political credibility to act as advocates for the Hamilton Road area business community.

You can help! It is so much easier and fairer if we all pitch in and help a little. You will find enclosed with this newsletter, an application for membership. Please get someone to fill it out. If each of us would just approach one businessperson we know or deal with, I could be talking about 120 members in our next newsletter.
