Organisation

In each of the Hua Tiong Pugilistic Art Institute, there are 3 departments namely Dragon, Lion and Flag, Hua Tiong and Taiji departments. The Hua Tiong and Dragon, Lion and Flag departments were established during the early days of the Institute since 1967. The Taiji department was only founded in the year 2004 with the development of the Yinyang Taijiquan.

The Assistant Chief Instructors report directly to the Chief Instructor who is Master Tan Choo Seng himself. Regardless of location or branch, Master Tan maintains close interests in the development and training of all students in each of these depts. Master Tan provides technical guidance to both instructors and students to ensure the Hua Tiong martial art style is properly taught and new techniques are well explained to all students.

Branches

The Hua Tiong Branch Executive Committee working closely with the appointed Instructors determines all operations in each location. The Branch Executive Committee comprises of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and committee members. Master Tan Choo Seng is the Advisor to the Executive Committee working together with other Hua Tiong Advisors and Honorable appointment holders. The term of office for all appointment holders is 2-3 years depending on location.
