little mud. Wear old shoes, take bug spray, and be prepared to walk a
ways.

If you don't like mud, this cache is not for you.
Take some old shoes, bug spray, and be prepared to walk up to 3/4 of a mile,
depending upon how brave you are in driving your vehicle.
In the Winter, you MAY be able to drive most of the way to
the cache if you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, or ATV. If you have a car,
forget it. You will need to park and walk 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. In
the Summer, after the daily rains have been going for a while, you most likely
will not even be able to drive there in either of the above. You would
most likely need a swamp buggy.
The cache is in a large ammo box, and is located not too
far off of the road (Road? Is that what you call it?). It contains
mostly tools or tool-related items. We think it has some good stuff.

cache #104 @ 7:40 AM I got up early to find this one and pick up the Micro Micro coin before heading over to a nearby area to recon for a geocache placement. As mentioned in the two previous logs there are still several very large puddles between parking and this cache. The cache is in great shape and has good stuff in it. TFTC.

Sorry for the late log, visiting from Charlotte, N.C. just got back from vacation. Lost my list of logs and trying to remember.....yeah right. Oh Yeah, I remember this one, I had to carry Lorriebird on my back......Barefoot! What a brother won't do! The path was flooded in several places and since Christmas Cache was dry we wanted to stay that way. When we began this one we saw a puddle then another and another. we took off our shoes, waded accross and then......yep another puddle. Lorriebird said I ain't gonna take my shoes off again, mine were still removed so I said, "Relax, I can just give you a ride". I hunted the cache entirely barefooted, (Yes I'm from Oklahoma but I thought I out grew these things). The cache was great, fully stocked less one flashlight, but added some dinosours. Thanks, Birdman1.

This is another on my list of caches that hasn't been active for WAY too long. The last visit was five months ago??? Hopefully with this update it will get moving again. The bad news is that the dumping situation has not changed...the good news is that this cache ROCKS!
My brother 'birdman1' and I hit this one after the Christmas Cache today. We were tired but too nearby to not check it out. We were a bit wary after such a long period of inactivity.
The gate is still across the road (if you really want to call it a road) but it really doesn't matter as it would be impassable for a vehicle anyway. Plenty of parking amidst the washing machines and old stoves! The walk wasn't that long, but one must either bushwack around small lakes in your path or walk through them. We did some of both, nothing really difficult. Just a pair of rubber boots will be enough for this one.
The cache was tough to find as it had been buried under five months of pine needles and wind debris. However, the cache is in terrific shape and still stocked with some great booty. We really appreciated the nice contents (lot's of tools and other cool stuff like some new shop rags!) and especially the placement of the cache itself. Very nice and hikeworthy. Thanks for that!
We enjoyed this cache very much and wanted to leave something to hopefully stir some interest. I have a feeling that someone will be along very soon to check this one out (lemmings, are you reading?) I am dropping off a very cool little Micro Micro coin that I picked up in Texas.
Thanks for a nice cache. Lorriebird

some ugly boys are fishing at corner to us41, when we approach they disappear: did they forgot their fishinglicence? - the street to cache was closed, so we had to walk the 1/3 mile to cache - with exception of 3 waterholes all over the street, it was an easy hike, only a few mosquitos - garbage level is high: tires, refrigerators, buckets with old paint and other stuff is making the area to an angry garbage dump - cache is in good shape and well stocked - T4THSL!

A great hike, I obviously caught it at the end of the dry season, as I had no mud to contend with at all--a few deer flies, though! While this is a great area, the amount of trash that was deliberately dumped is dismaying. The cache itself was an easy find, though us visiting yankees don't like jumping into southern woods--you guys have a lot more viscious nasties than up north! Grabbed the "Dial 911" travel bug, will release him into the wilds back home.
