Bats are considered creatures of darkness because they thrive in the night. Bats love sleeping in caves. One unusual characteristic of theirs is that they enjoy sleeping upside down. When there are more than one bat hanging upside down, that is known as "hanging" with buds. Anyways, bats love to suck things. That is how they eat food. There are many species of bats. Some may suck human blood, but that is rare. Some may suck animal blood, but the most common are fruit-sucking bats. Because bats are black, enjoy darkness, have fangs, and love to suck things, they are a symbol for vampires. Black cats symbolizes wisdom, power, agility, and magic. Often times, they are pets of witches (good or bad). Their black color allows them to hide in the night, and also symbolizes death. A black cat's "meow" can warn witches of coming danger. A black cat may be good or bad depending on their owners. A black cat always come with inquisitive green eyes. They may sometimes look frightening, but if the cat doesn't scratch, it's probably safe.
