No one really knows if reincarnation exists. It is the belief that after the body dies, the spirit still survives. A number of people believe that after the body dies, the spirit will go into another body. They will usually go into a newborn baby. Some people believe that a person's spirit can even go into newborn dogs, cats, etc. Whatever animal your spirit goes into after you die also depends on the good deeds that you have done and the sins that you have committed during your life. If you were a good person, your spirit will reincarnate into a human, or maybe a bird. If you committed many sins, you'll probably reincarnate into a pig, or something like that. The good deeds that you do during your lifetime not only bless your children, but also your life after your death. For instance, a bad person may reincarnate into a pig, and a good pig may reincarnate into a person. It is believed that when you reincarnate into a newborn baby, you forget everything about your past life. Some (fortunate or unfortunate, depending on your point of view) people may have dreams or flashbacks of their past life. It is also believed that hypnosis can help you remember your past life. The people who tend to remember are people who have had unfinished business in their past life. The Chinese believe that when a person dies, their spirit travels to the gates of heaven. They then form a line with the other spirits to reincarnate. Before their spirit goes into another body, they have to drink a thing called "The blind woman's soup", which makes you forget about everything that happened to you in your past life. The ghosts who float around on earth are the spirits that have unfinished business or they were the ones who missed their reincarnation dates. Some unlucky souls stay in hell. Reincarnation is a fun thing to learn about. Some people choose not to believe in it, and I can't blame them. It does sound a little scary and bizarre, but it's also kind of fascinating. No one knows for sure what happens after you die, but this is one of the theories. We'll never know until we die, but we'll never be able to tell anyone who is alive whether this is true or not. That is kind of sad.   Recommended movie: "Fluke" It's about a dog who has flashbacks about his past life. He finds his family and his supposed murderer. When he discovers that what he thought happened was not the truth, he leaves his family because he knows that they'll be happier without him. This is a really heartwarming story that deals with reincarnation.
