The essence of evil is not a thing, but a feeling. It can only be detected by the 6th sense, which is sense itself. One can detect this evil feeling when one can feel the hair on one's neck stand up. One can sense evil when one's heart is beating faster than usual due to fear. Sometimes one may run and gasp for breath for no reason. Have you ever felt frightened for no apparant reason? If so, then you are sensing evil. You are feeling the essence of evil. Evil thrives in the darkness and isolation. It exists in the place where one feels insecure. During the nighttime, one cannot see, so evil takes that advantage. Evil tends to exist in abandoned houses because it is not noticed, and evil can do whatever it wants. Evil can exist in any form. It can be a person, a creature, a thing, or it can just be air. The point is, evil is out there to get you, so you should be extra aware in the darkness. Don't take it the wrong way, though, evil can evil exist in broad daylight in a public place, but that is rare. Evil is everywhere, so you should always listen to your sixth sense. If it tells you to run, then run.
