Cycle trip to Washington DC, June 2(?) - 15, 2002. |

On the day before I took this picture, there was someone looking up at the power lines when I took a look to see what he was looking at. It was a squirrel who had been shocked on the power line and was stuck there, melted into the line insulation, hanging head downwards. Though I can't say I was happy to see a squirrel go before it was his time, the position he was stuck in was one of the funniest things I'd seen in a while -- he was splayed out and hanging head downwards, held onto the power line like a trapeze artist. I still have no idea why I didn't take a picture of that. |

Riding in Pennsylvania, near 5pm, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw this extremely rare Yenko SC. The owner was just getting out of work and was getting inside it. I was quite surprised when he told me he used it as his every day commuter. He was nice enough to get out of it so I could snap this picture. |

Once in Philadelphia, a fellow cyclist was nice enough to give me an abbreviated cyclist's tour of some of the sights. While on the way to some of the spots we did a quick Rocky Balboa tour.

Here's Mickey's gym, (unfortunately in disrepair.) |

The pet shop where Adrian worked. |

Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Rocky's steps. |

Independence Hall. The structure on the left of this picture is the post 9/11 enclosure for the Liberty Bell. It's surrounded by park rangers and there's quite a line leading up to it. |
