Feeling generous? Just want to see who else might deserve some help? Need help yourself? Hopefully there'll be something here for you. These are either places I already knew about, or people I happened to spot recently...caveat emptor, and I hope to add more here over time.
All links open in a new window.
Other Cyberbeggars:
- Old Fool's Cyberbegging Site -- looks like another guy who got rooked by Life and could really use a bit of help.
- Help an Angel -- this gal...it's a dark site, and she has a bleak, cynical outlook....but it sounds extremely familiar and I can definitely relate.
- 2 Nice Girls -- a couple gals who are trying to have a baby. No update since last year it seems, and I plan to see how they're doing.
- Beat the Bus -- not a cyberbeggar really, and his "cause" is already over, but I just had to link to him because the idea was so damn original :)
- Worldwide Charity Directory -- a very short list of other cyberbeggar directories.
Charitable Sites:
- The Hunger Site -- click the button, and their sponsors donate a cup of food to the needy. Lots of info, and more charities available there.
- Children International -- you've passed by the commercials, but sponsoring a child is the only way some of us can have kids.
- Friends of the Orphans -- never heard of this one and the site's slow to load, but it's another place to help kids.
- McCurdy School Home Page -- probably every Methodist has heard about this one...save box tops and Campbell's Soup labels to help out schools.
- Yahoo! Directory >Issues and Causes >Poverty -- just what it looks like, lots of more links to click on.
Cyberbeggar Listings:
- SaveMeSites.com -- They're somewhat new, but visitor-friendly and offer listings, resources, and advice.
- Cyberbeg.com -- just a classified listing of people who need help, not much to comment on really. Very basic, and some folks appear legit.
- DonateMoney2Me.com -- a huge resource where cyberbeggars can have their own webpage. I didn't link to it because it's not free, the navigation sucks, and they're really vague about a few things. Google it if you want to visit anyway.
I'll be adding to this over time...these are just all the bookmarks I had when I first looked into this cyberbegging thing.
