Marta
Terez: The Sitcom
Would it surprise you to know that Indigo Retina and Jackson Brody have concieved a sitcom? Based on a real-life person, Marta Terez is the endearing tale of the title character and her friends as they are chased from one wacky plot arc to another. How will it all end? No one really knows, except that it will be hilarious. Updates: Go directly to Season 1 Go directly to Season 2 Premise: Marta Terez, a young woman on the go, relocates to Kissimmee St. Cloud, Florida. Strapped for cash and in need of a career that she can advance in, she hastily takes a job at a lesbian bar named McNipple's. She gets an apartment in a single's building, not realizing that it is a bachelor's building. No one realizes anyhow. During her stay, she meets an interesting host of characters and involves herself in many a comical situation. The show is like "Frasier", except with the absence of the show's wit, comical father character, British nurse, sadistic dog, effeminate brother, slutty producer friend, and Seattle setting. But Maris is in it. Setting:
Characters:
Kevin Maye the Francis: reporter friend of Marta, always being whisked on mysterious business elsewhere. Eamon R. Laub: Comical friend of Marta's who's always getting into crazy trouble. His roots are enigmatic, but he's currently a government courier that transfers important top-secret information between locations. J.P. McIvor: Brainy but loveable, J.P. tends to be the voice of reason within the group of friends, although he'll go along with whatever they do. Ozmodiar: Marta's midget doorman. He is cooked a different way at the end of every episode. He has the ability to read people's minds, but this uncanny ability has no purpose, seeing as he knows practically every language and dialect ever, except for English, which is the show's primary language. Big Willie/Big Wilma: Marta's surly boss who can be either male or female, but depends on the weather. Marcus E. Larkus: According to him, the "E' stands for idiot. Spouts out complicated mathematical equations at random points. He is Kevin's dumb-witted roommate, and sells apples off a cart that he takes everywhere with him. He is constantly pursued by a renegade band of Cherokee Indians. Antonio Banderas (Ver. 2.3): Marta's archenemy who lives on a secret underground base in SeaWorld! Ever since she burned off his chest hair with a waffle iron, he has wanted her dead. RoboGriffith: Antonio's disgruntled wife, Melanie, who, after her movie "Crazy in Alabama" flopped, decided to have herself cybernetically enhanced. Orphan Jimmy: Oliver-like orphan who lives in Marta's cupboards. He and Ozmodiar often engage in hand-to-hand combat because it's funny to see two small people fight each other. Hyper Drive Factor Five: The house band at McNipple's. It includes Kevin and Marcus, and also their friends and fellow band-mates J.P. McIvor, Eamon Laub, and Erin Jean. HDFF often competes in battles of bands, facing off against fierce bands like The What, The Jesus Jones Consortium, Fat Old Man, The Beets, Mission: Failure, and One Saturday Morning. D. Dwight "Ike" Eisenhower: Yet another of Marta's pesky neighbors, and he is in actuality the famous general and president. Owns an extensive library of biographies about himself, and continually writes historically inaccurate autobiographies about himself. Roy Bamboo: Britney Spears' former trustworthy bodyguard who was fired under mysterious circumstances. Marta owes him incredible amounts of money, which she never has, in a quite comical recurring gag. Joan: The evil ticket seller at the Grant Plaza United Artists movie theatre who always foils the gang's plans as they are about to unleash them. Episodes by Season: Season 1: Give Me A Season and I'll Give You A Reason Season 2: He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother We're going on the honor system here, so any of the "Marta Terez" material contained on this site is the intellectual property of the personages Indigo Retina and Jackson Brody, if not in law then in reality.
