CARING WITH LOVE
Environment Conditions:
Best temperature range is between 21oC and 24oC.
Humidity is maintained at above 60%.
Beddings Tips:
Softwood shavings, hay or straw are good bedding materials for hamsters.
Soiled bedding should be cleaned out every two to three days.
Handling Tips:
Touch a hamster first by patting gently at its fur.
Scruff a hamster gently by its neck.
Hold a hamster only when it is wide awake.
Handle a hamster close to the ground in case it jumps away.
Training Tips:
Exercising wheels are used to prevent hamsters from being over-weight.
Hamsters love to row themselves daily in a sandbath for bathing.
A small soiled tray in a corner stimulates hamsters to use it as a lavatory.
Breeding Tips:
Young female between two months and eight months old can breed.
Several litters from 4 to 12 each time can be reproduced each year.
Babies required 15 to 18 days to fully develope.
Curing Tips:

Tooth problem | Too much sweets or chocolate | Avoid too much sugar-content food |
Overgrown teeth | Old age | Provide a grinding stone in the cage |
Diarrhoea | Too much human food | Hamster mixed food only |
Wet tail | Too much soft fruits or vegetables | Add a little yeast to the food |
Constipation | Too much hard food | Give some vegetables or fruits |
Coughs, sneezes and snuffles | Too cold in the cage | Warmth, swabbing away nasal discharges, vitamin supplements |
