[Introduction][Arrived at Budokan][Concert Details][Afterthought]

Concert Details

  • I and Patrick are sitting on the 2nd floor, on the right side of the stage. The concert began at around 6:25pm and the light was turned off that time with only main spotlight pointing at the backstage. The stage is 3 sided and the crew members came out from the back through the long corridor. They got ready and finally Tamaki Koji came out and of course lots of applause from the crowd. The positions of the crew members are as follows:

    Program Details

  • 1 - Platonic Dance
As usual Tamaki Koji came out with sunglasses and carrying a guitar. Used an Anchi song as a starter...might want to emphasize that this is a "Tamaki Koji with Anzen Chitai" concert..?!

  • 4 - 5 Introduction
After 4 up-tempo songs, Tamaki slowed down a bit and he talked to the audience. Tamaki also introduced his band members while they were playing some blues improgression.

  • 8 - Anata ni...
This is one of the best parts in the concert! After 2 fast paced songs Tamaki changed the concert atmosphere by singing an Anchi classic! It's so classic in a way that Rokudo (Anchi's bass player) played keyboard for him and that's it, with no other instrument. Roku san made a stretch of hands before playing and I was moved as Tamaki sang the whole song but his voice is no like before. It's harder for him to reach the high notes of the song now but I know that he has put an effort into it and try to interpret the song with his Anchi style....

  • 11 - Lonely Far
As the band played this song, Tamaki was getting close with the fans from the 4 corners of the stage.

  • 12 - Jounetsu
After this song Tamaki and the band members took a break and had some interaction with the fans. Tamaki asked the age group of the audiences, running from the 10s onwards. Most of the audiences felt in the 20s - 30s age ranges. When Tamaki asked if there is any audience in his/her 70s of age, he thought he just joke around but indeed there is an audience raising up his hand addressing that he is in his 70s and everyone gave this audience a big applause.....!!

  • 15 - Hoshi ni Naritai
This is the climax of the concert. After the song, Tamaki revealed that many celebrities were with us tonite, including Anchi lyrist Matsui Goro and many other TV drama stars but unfortunately I couldn't recognize their names...! :( Those celebrities were actually sitting with the audiences and when Tamaki announced their names, everyone around me stood up and wanted to get a glimpse of those stars!! Their seats were all facing the main stages, some are in ground level while others are in 2nd floor level.

  • 16 - Kanashimi ni Sayonara
Another guest appeared and she is Koizumi Kyoko!! She dressed pretty casual and she sang this song with Tamaki! It seems that she had hard time reaching the high notes of the song too! Well Kyoko came obviously because she starred in the TV drama "Melody" with Tamaki Koji, and the theme song for that drama is "Melody".

  • 17 - I Love You kara Hajimeyou
Tamaki is getting wild and after this song, he played baseball with the audiences!! He hit the gifts to the audiences and so he tried to hit them to all 4 corners. A shot was hit too high and the gift bounced back from hitting the light, and Tamaki hit it again!!!!

  • 21 - Natsu no Owari no Harmony
Another climax and this is for the Encore part. The audiences were singing the harmony with Tamaki and there no music instrument is used. After that, Tamaki mentioned that maybe he will has no more LIVE because touring whole Japan is too tired for him(he is almost 40). Tamaki also asked the fans and see if they were no problem with the time, and the fans said no, and so he left the stage and came back with one last song, "Hana Saku Dote" and he played it all by himself (No other crew was there), and the concert was over 2 hours...
