Growing up, it was instilled in me to never forget where I come from. I am proud to say that I was raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Located on the west coast of Africa, Sierra Leone is a small country bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, Liberia on the south, and Guinea on the north and northwest.
