NBA:
During the days of Michael Jordan, I fell in love with the
CHICAGO BULLS. My love is still there and I know that they will return to glory one day.
When Michael Jordan moved on to the WASHINGTON WIZARDS, I felt the need to add them to my site. Jordan is gone now but the link remains. After all the Wizards were my home team for 10 years.
Another reluctant link is that for my husband's team the PHILADELPHIA 76ERS. After having watched quite alot of their games, Allen Iverson is starting to grow on me.
Check out the
NFL:
I have always been a major fan of the
WASHINGTON REDSKINS . So much so that even though they are no longer my home team, I will always love and support my skins. With the return of Joe Gibbs, I have no doubt that the Road to the Super Bowl is not far off.
Shocking, but I have to admit that I also liked the DALLAS COWBOYS during the Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith days.
Track and Field: Track is and always will be my first love. Since running bare foot for Blue House at King Harman Preparatory School, I realized that I loved the freedom that running brought. Go Blue House, Eagles, Assumpta, Blazers, Terps and Blue Jays.

The Olympic
creed: "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered, but to have fought well." Reminisce with Sports Illustrated at the Olympics in Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. ![]() Other aspects of Izzy: About Izzy | Involvements | Economics | Music | Mentors | Spiritual | Africa | Links ![]() ![]()
