Our Baby Claire

Here's our little baby Claire... I am her cousin Keri...or auntie Keri...I really don't know what I'm being called these days. :-p But isn't she just precious?

This is where some people will start going "awww" because yeah, heh, this could be ME someday. ;) Er, I mean, it is me...but I mean with my little baby...er... and yes, every single time I see Claire, my biological clock starts ticking. Not like it's not already ticking. I wonder what is with that, why does it start doing that? Hmm. I dunno... but nonetheless, I'm all about babies right now, hehe. ;)

*goofy smile* Look at that yawn. Awwww. :) She's a little sleeper, she loves sleeping. Her and sleep are best friends.

Claire and I were having some active, awake time. She's so adorable...she loves kicking and waving her arms around. She'll just sit there and kick and wave. She's becoming the strong little thing too, she was kickin' me kinda hard last time I saw her, lol.

*sheepish smile* This is the one where yeah... I look at it and it's like, "I'm gonna be a momma someday..." LOL, as Julie would say, it's not in the "five year plan", I am ALL about being able to have some honeymoon time before the baby comes poppin' out, but awww... whenever she lays on my chest like that (she loves it), I just feel so...motherly. It's weird. Like all I want to do is hold her and protect her from harm and let her have the best goshdarn sleep she's ever had right there on my chest. *cough* Yeah, I'm odd, I know it... remember, the clock is ticking, brings out more of the oddness. :-p

Me feeding da baby! ;) This was actually the first time I had fed her, I think. I was so nervous that she was going to choke on the milk because I wasn't holding it right or something crazy like that...but she didn't. She survived and drank the whole thing. (She's quite an eater too. ;))

LOL, my mom took this real quickly because basically....this is what happened. I took the bottle out of her mouth, sat her up to start patting her to burb and out comes this LOUD burp (she can burp with the rest of the manly males), and then IMMEDIATELY afterwards her head goes boomp! right against me and she's asleep. lol, she didn't even wait for me to move her, she just fell asleep right there. That's what's so cute about this one. :)

Isn't that adorable? The way she's sleeping on her arm? I swear, I watch this kid and the more I do, the more I think she's got some Keri traits in her somewhere. She likes sleeping on her arm, she put her two fingers in her mouth to suck on...she's just waiting to be like me, lol. Although I don't burp nearly as loud as she does. ;)
