Claire Pictures

We love our Claire pictures! It's da baby! :) These pics were taken from June 12-17th. We busted out a new roll of film because baby Claire was turning ONE. Awww. Can you believe it? We've all been along for the ride, and now my baby cousin Claire is one. It's so adorable. ;) These first few pics are from Claire's actual birthday party. This one is of my aunt Judy (ie Grandma) and Claire. Isn't it cute? I've finally figured out how to get Claire to smile in every picture (when I'm behind the camera)-- I play peek-a-boo with the camera. I position it where I want it to take the pic and then I move my head up above it and say "Peek-a-boo!" and she giggles and I snap the picture. This is a good example. I think that's why Judy looks so happy too, lol. ;)

Here is Claire at her birthday party. Everyone was singing happy birthday to her, and well, lol, I don't think Claire liked it. It was like she knew the attention was all on her, that all eyes were on her, and she was SO not happy about it. All day actually. She just didn't like all the people...she would literally hide in my shoulder when I was holding her to try to keep everyone away. Here, Kris was giving Claire her OWN birthday cake to put her hands in and throw or whatever else she wanted to. Claire did NOT like that, LOL. She started bawling when Kris put her hands in the cake. Bad idea. ;) I don't think they'll be doing that again, lol.

Cousin Chris gave her that bear. It's all soft and cuddly. :) Claire liked it...and was picking at the paws and everything. She looks cute here, that's why I scanned it, plain and simple. :-p

It's Daddy and baby! Claire wanted to play with one of her new toys and one the little kids at the party wouldn't give it to her, so she was getting upset and went after it herself, as you can see. That a girl. Show those boys who's boss. ;)

Hehe, Claire is clapping. :) She likes to clap and hear others clap and go "Yay!" at the same time. Kevin is clapping with her and yay-ing as you can see, and Claire's all content with her clapping. Look how cute-- she has her legs crossed, hee! ;)

Aww, da baby almost looks like a boy here, lol. We won't stay on that thought for very long though. :-p She just looks cute, that's all. Oh, and this is a week later after the party-- when my mom and I were babysitting Claire all day. Which BTW, is a difficult thing when you work from 6-10 in the morning! I'm already tired but then I babysit Claire and run around chasing her around the house, and I'm even MORE tired. But I can't nap on their couch. It just doesn't work, I don't know why. Sucks. :-p

Isn't she adorable?! Hee! *cough* Don't mind me. I love da baby, did I mention that by any chance? :-p ;) She's in Kevin and Kris' room looking at herself in the mirror. She was having a grand ol' time, as you can see...

More Baby Claire in the mirror fun! Hehe... she's talking to herself in the mirror. Who knows if she actually realizes she's talking to herself or if she think she's talking to another baby. All I know is it's cute as all get out. ;)

Isn't this just the cutest thing ever? :) Awww. :) I learned this trick y'see... I take Claire's pacifer, I put the holder part in my mouth...and then I lean down towards her with the sucking part out towards her...and she giggles like no tomorrow and takes the pacifier in her mouth just like that. It's like a kiss of sorts. It's so cute. So so cute. I wish ya'll could see it for real. :) So I just love this picture of her and I. :)

Da baby just woke up! She's so cute when she wakes up from her nap. She really is. Absolutely adorable. She's all giggly and the happiest you'll see her. The cutest part is that she wants to stay IN her crib for awhile longer after you come in there. She likes to play with her stuffed bears. She'll see them, grab them and hug them in her arms and squeal, it's the CUTEST THING EVER! LOL. It really is, I promise. ;)

Usually I'll get down on the floor and reach my hand through the bars, pick up one of the bears and make it "come to life" so that she'll tackle it. lol, she literally tackles it with a hug and falls over in her bed and squeals. SO FRICKIN' CUTE! LOL. ;) I'll also move my head along the bars back and forth and occasionally stop inbetween the bars and blow a kiss at her, and she just loves it. She'll come in towards me with her mouth WIDE open. lol, she thinks that's the way to kiss, lol. And she'll give me a kiss, squeal, and fall back into her crib again, lol. It's so adorable. It really is. Then when she's done playing in the crib after 15 mins or so, she'll stand up and reach up her hands toward you and you take her out and go have happy times with her elsewhere. ;)

*goofy smile* Isn't this just adorable? I mean, really. I think that's one of the best pictures of Claire and I. :) I'm not doing my big smile like I usually do, and Claire just looks cute as could be. I was playing on the floor with her, and my mom decided to take a pic of us. So cute. I love this one. :)

LOL, my mom was feeding her water...look at all the water on her chin and her shirt. That's my mom spilling water on the baby. Claire loves it.

AND here you get to see my mom actually giving Claire the water in the cup! Claire will take it no other way. She likes to feel all big girl like with the water in the cup. And I really do believe that she secretly likes it spilling all over her, she prolly sees it as fun. ;)

Here we get to see Claire walking. With the help of one of her birthday gifts, but she's walking nonetheless. She truly can walk on her own now, but it seems like she prefers to crawl or have help from someone. She's not quite willing to go out on her own completely.

And this is the last one... me and Claire. :) She had successfully taken off my watch and was playing with it. She's always had a fascination with my watch, so this was the first time she'd actually gotten it off of me. :-p Unfortunately, the pacifier was in her mouth so we couldn't get her to smile, but there's me with my big smile! LOL. I think it's a cute picture anyways. :)

We actually took some more pics last week when we were babysitting again, so once I get them developed, I'll put some more up for ya'll to see. :) But for now, this is it. :) So cute! ;)
