Our Baby Claire

Hee! See how Claire is growing up so quickly? :) These pictures with her in the red dress were taken at the end of January 2004. Judy had her for the weekend and so Kevin/Kris weren't there at church...it meant that I got to take care of Claire during church and somewhat afterwards, and guess what? That meant us going crazy with the camera. Because I think us taking so many pictures sometimes weirds Kris out, lol. ;) But look at those big blue eyes...she has Kris' eyes.

That is my aunt Judy and baby Claire. Claire was just beginning to learn how to sit up on her own at this point. AND she was beginning to smile a lot! Which of course, we love. Judy told me once that she doesn't have many pictures of her and Claire together, because Judy's usually always the one behind the camera. So I tried to get a couple of good ones of them two (my photographer eye) and the two pics you'll see...well, I think I captured it. Because Judy was googoogaga-ing over her copies. ;)

Isn't she just adorable? :) Look at that smile! She was so proud of herself because she was beginning to learn how to crawl a few steps, and she'd look up all excited and stuff. :)

Awww... this is the other Judy/Claire pic I was talking about. I adore this one. When I took it, I kneeled down so that I could get that angle of them, because I thought it would look REALLY cute, and sure enough...when I took it and stood back up, I was like to Judy, "Oh you're going to LOVE that one." :)

Me and da baby again!! :) LOL, I think this one is hilarious because I SO look like I'm back in high school for sure in this picture. I look so frickin' young. :-p I was raising Claire up towards the camera, and that's why we both look the way we do.

Here's Kris and Claire together. These pictures were taken the first week of February, I believe. *laughs* When my mom saw Claire in that cute little outfit, she made me grab my camera immediately and take a picture of her and Kris. I think it came out really cute.

Aren't we cute? Hehe. ;) I love the way Claire's little hand is grasping my shirt. She wasn't just like "Yeah yeah, whatever, this is Keri, bleh", it was like she was holding onto me and moving into me during these pictures. She felt a lot closer with me because of me taking care of her with Judy the Sunday before. Claire and I hadn't had that "bond" since the last pictures you've seen up here, 'cause I hadn't taken care of her since then. But I think she feels much more comfy with me now. :)

Awwww. *biological clock begins ticking again...tickticktick* Can I be a mother? Soon? LOL, I'm just kidding. ;) This picture really is too cute. The baby likes me. Hee. :-D

I love this one... my mom got a couple of pics like this one, but this was the best. Most of these pictures really turned out well from these whole two weeks. I had to weed out some of them since my website doesn't have TOO much space, but these were all the best ones. :)

LOL, this is possibly the funniest one. Actually, there's a funnier one that I didn't have room to put up where Claire is looking off at my dad -- my dad was Frankenstein with these stitches on his forehead and when Claire first saw him, she got the scaredest look on her face and my mom got a shot of it, lol, so that's prolly the funniest one. ;) But this is second funniest. Claire SO has a fascination with my necklace...the necklace that I got at Santa Monica Pier with Sara. It has a heart and it's a mood necklace basically so it changes colors all the time. Well Claire just ADORES it. I always make sure I wear it for her, because it honestly seems to be one of the ways that she knows and recognizes me. So lol, if you look closely, you can see her leaning in going "HEH! NECKLACE!" with her eyes and her hand's grabbing it. Suddenly Keri's face is no more, there is only the necklace in her mind. LOL. It's always so cute when she does it. ;)

Hehe, I was going in to kiss da baby's cheek, because she was looking so cute all smiley and stuff, and I guess my mom got a picture of me in mid-action...that's why it's a little fuzzy, but dangit, it's cute, so it goes up! :-p

*grins* Claire is looking at my dad, if you can't tell. She's still not too sure about him. ;) My mom wanted to see her crawl, so Kris put her down in the Songster room and let her crawl around for a bit. The baby looked so cute. :)
