This site was
originally designed and developed for premium e-group of Uttarakhand
the Kumauni-Garhwali (KG) group (kumauni group at that time. This site came to existence in 2001,when I was knowing only a bit of HTML. The Old home page still
lies here. This site became one of the first site on Uttarakhand.I remember that in early 2001 when I was looking for a recipe of "Bhatt ki Chudkani" on the internet I could not find the same. (Yes google was not there then.). Then I decided to bring a lot of Uttarakhand related information on the internet.I formed a Kumauni-Garhwali group then. We shared lot of things through this group and dicussions on various topics were held. We used to run variuos series on which we used to share information on one topic and other members used to contribute. We participated in Cuisine Series, Song Series,Ramleela series etc. We gathered and shared lot of information thorough our discussions. The aim of this site was to keep all those information on the net. (I was not knowing any thing about hosting,domain name then.). We have inspired many to form e-groups and started the momentum of sharing information about Uttarakhand. Many sites were created after that by me and today we have some very good and informative sites on Uttarakhand. We have our forum where members share information, we have a site on Uttarakhand where you can find the real and authentic information on Uttarakhand.
