Denis Lepage emerged on the music scene in 1981
from Quebec Canada... On MATRA records came
"Your Love" that went to #1 in the billboard club chart
of the time... I think that lp had accoustic drum
and percussion...you could kind of guess something
was interesting about this duo however I doubt that
anyone was prepared for the incredible follow up
lp
Lime your love 1981 released by Matra in
Canada / PRISM in NY/ Polydor thruought Europe

The site is very nice!! .. We (Denyse & Denis) have a daughter Claudine will be moving tomorrow with her
boyfriend who is a sound engineer, DJ also of course and when she was
born, the local news here called her Limette! She is 22 on Novembre
30th coming soon. She is an artist also but visual arts. She draws,
studied a vocation and works free lance. She is a super dooper artist
anyway thanks for everything Dario.
Take care and be well my music friend! The Montreal Jazz Festival is
on started yesterday so being a long time fan of Jazz, I finally saw
Keith Jarrett live in concert yes!! The man rules!! Denyse LePage

They dropped the
bomb with their second album...which is one of my favorite
albums of all time (If self called critics would just
take a little time to look at more than just guitar rock
and roll). Lime 2 has incredible analogue Synth work...
just beautiful arrangements that are still easy
to listen to. "Babe , we're gonna Love tonight" with
its pulsating beat and chanting chorus and unforgettable
synth hook charts POP in Europe and becomes a classic.
Denis Lepage's manly rugged voice gives lot of
power to the Hi-nrg music background. I have made a special section for the LIME II album. Access it thru the main page

LIME "take the Love" 86
... then after really no new material in 87...an album is
released in 1988 called A Brand New Day... but only 1/2 of it
seams to be made by Lime (no joking ... someone else sings
4 of only 7 song lp). The lp is dissapointing...however it
contains one of my most favorite LIME songs which is sung
by Denis...thank God! "Please Say You Will" with cute
vocals also from Denyse

Lime Greatest Hits
|
If you have never heard Lime before ...there is
a greatest Hits out their...covering material
from 81 to 85.
The tracks are remixed...some are improvements...
(come and get your love) ... some were better
off untouched (take it up)...The remix for
Unexpected Lovers has a beautifull flamenco
Guitar solo in the middle of it that was not on the
original version
