Friends
William Fung
I've known William, or BJ as we call him, since I was in high school. His
interests are hockey, the Internet, and sappy country love songs. He has
selected some writings that a group of us had done a few years ago.
Willard's Homepage
Willard Ma extraordinaire. Famous for his one-liners and squeaky chipmunk voice
impersonations. I met him through a mutual friend at an ice hockey game.
His page has gif files, midi files, backgrounds, and more. He also
talks about his big lovable dog, Chico.
Planet of the Abes
Abraham Lim is a good, dear friend of mine whom I have known since I was in high school.
In his website, he shows off his programming know-how and provides links to his
most used sites, as well as some pages with a personal touch. Unfortunately, this
page only works some of the time. Some technical detail I'm not familiar with.
Jung Sue Yeon
A really nice girl I met after I returned from China. She's from South Korea and
we normally just call her Sue. She was studying English here in Vancouver, but has
now returned home to her native land to finish her education.
Team Endeavour
This page was created by a high school classmate of mine named Allan Chang. He's
an artistic wonder and has a style all his own. This page was created to document
the ups and downs of a local dragon boat team that some of my friends are on.
m00_m00_c0w
Selected poems by Gloria Cheng, a high school girl I have the pleasure of being
friends with.
Universities
The University of British Columbia
My alma mater and home school. This is UBC's official homepage complete
with information on the campus, programs, and admission.
Simon Fraser University
SFU is a highly-touted university in Canada for business, science, and computer studies. It is
the cross-town rival of UBC. As the saying goes at SFU, "Friends don't let friends go
to UBC!!"
Other
Canada Post - Personal Postal Services Home
Canada is well-known for its beautiful stamps. Take a look under the Collecting section
to look at stamps they have issued over the past 3 years.
National Atlas of Canada Online
This is a wonderful visual reference. It makes Canadian geography fun and accessible
while providing detailed information for those doing research on Canada.
Tourism Vancouver
Tourism Vancouver provides visitors to Vancouver with a calendar of events, photographs
and descriptions of the attractions, and a list of where to stay when visiting.
Blue Mountain Arts
Blue Mountain is the home of one of the most popular electronic greeting card sites
on the Internet. They list all of the upcoming holidays, festivals, and special days
you can imagine and even more. There seems to be a special occasion for every day of the
year.
