A little something about me

Henry @ Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver

Welcome to an ocean away. I'm your editor of lotus land letters. Most of you should know me by now, but if you don't, let me tell you. Currently, I'm a student at the University of British Columbia doing my master's in Audiology and Speech Sciences. Audiology is the study of people's hearing and how to improve it.

Roots
My roots come from way back in China's Guangdong province, but I'm not sure exactly where. My father's family was in Hong Kong for about 100 years before he and my mother immigrated to Canada. My mother's ancestral home is Shunde in Guangdong. She, herself, was born in Kunming, Yunnan, China.

I'm the youngest of 3 children. My sister's the oldest, my brother's next, and I trail at the end.

Da Guys
My friends are a quirky bunch of guys. Most of whom I have known since my high school days. We spend our time together jamming (that's playing music), playing board games, playing ice hockey, and going out for dinner (mainly to the local Boston Pizza).

Hobbies
Some say "Hockey is life," but I think it's just a great sport to play and watch. I also spend an unnatural amount of time on my computer working on this web page, catching up on email, and participating in the occassional instant messaging seesion.

So that's me. Any questions? Click on the Contact link on the left panel.
