In Dairy – Sidikalang regency, has been constructed a Hydroelectric Power Plant which affects to the changing of river order of Renun and also becomes a threat for living sustainability for thousands of farmer’s family that live and make their life on the downstream side of the 11 tributaries where the entire of the tributaries – included Renun river itself – will be used to the plant purpose.

LSPL makes efforts to disseminate fair information by education, organizing the potential community being victims of the Plant project so that they have a knowledge and capability in strong bargaining position to fight their rights and to be survival of the drought threat.
