Abraham "Abe" Hopkins,
is who Barbary (Corey) Tedders used to speak about
as having been one of her favorite teachers at the
Bull Creek school. The log schoolhouse had only logs
to sit on, so Barbary brought a chair from home to sit on.
Abe was one of those who let her take her chair, slate
and Blueback Speller under a shade tree to sit and study.
