WHITE Family Chart

 

This is the White family of Calhoun County, Alabama.  I haven't found yet where they were originally from.  I believe they may have been one of the White families that immigrated from England, but no verification on that idea.  If any of these names look or sound familiar, please notify me by email.  I am just starting on the research of this surname and was fortunate enough to get a lot of this information from my great- grandfather's Bible which was in the possession of my cousin, who is now deceased.

Through a very kind person, not related to the Whites, on the internet, I received an email with the surnames of my great-great-grandmother, as well as my great-grandmother.  He also had the dates of their marriages and the location in which the marriages took place.  This was a great help to me concerning this family.  It really got me off to a terrific start!

I wish to thank all of the folks on the internet that are so willing to help others in researching their ancestry.  Even the ones who may not be related to a certain name, but happen to have information on that particular family are a tremendous help.  Any and all assistance means a person is that much closer to completing their work.  It takes years to do research in the proper manner.  That means verifying every bit of information and obtaining certificates of all sorts.  It also takes money and time to obtain this information through courts, libraries, historians, and archives, as well as by engaging a professional researcher at times to assist you through the proverbial "brick wall".  Thank you again.
