So, is MAB really going away??
Many of you have asked about it. Alright, here's the scoop....
...Oh, never mind...it's just uninteresting inside band stuff. The short answer is no...well, at least we're pretty sure ;)
The next time you see MAB, you'll get a show quality that you're not used to
from a local band. Yep, we'll be kicking it up a knotch with new music from Marc's brand new album,
Red City, along with brand new eye-popping
lighting production that no one else can duplicate. The band will also be sporting more powerful vocal harmonies than we've ever had in the past.
Marc has completed his SIXTH cd, titled 'Red City'. It will
be available at the next MAB show. You can also order Red City or any other Marc Allen album by emailing MAB using the
email links on various pages of this web site. Marc also compiled a 'Collection 1999-2004' cd
consisting of 15 completely remastered songs from previous albums. The "Collection" cd
is a MUST-HAVE for any fan of Marc's music.

Thanks for visiting MAB Online. We are The Marc Allen Band -
four musicians who've been around for quite a while. You may
recognize us from such Utah-based acts as Rough Water, Wild Country,
eN (Merit Records), The Deep Water Band, The Critics, Visionary, Xanadu
and many others. The Marc Allen Band is Utah's premier unsigned "indie"
country/crossover act!
Between the four of us, we've performed literally thousands of shows,
both large and small, from New York to Los Angeles - clubs, concerts,
fairs and everything in between. And, we're no strangers to the recording
studio. Some of us have released CD's with other acts, and some of us have
released our own. The Marc Allen discography currently consists of four CD's, and
MAB is working on number 5 for release in 2004 (we'll keep you informed).
The Utah music scene has been accelerating for the past couple of years.
MAB encourages all of you to support your favorite music acts at your
favorite venues. Between the patrons (that's you), bands and clubs and
concert venues, we can really get this state "rockin"! And, this isn't
just about live music. All you dancers out there, whether you belong to
a dance organization or not, have consistently been an important factor
in keeping the club circuit alive and thriving - particularly you country
dancers. More power to you!! Keep on dancing!!
MAB enthusiastically supports all of Utah's working live music acts, our
many terrific fellow musicians and the venues that feature them. And, we
urge you, our friends, and music fans everywhere, to do the same.
Thanks for all your support!!
Marc, ?, ?, Kevin |
