The "Sea-to-Sky Highway" loop (good ol' Highway 99) is one of Dave's and my favourite travel routes in British Columbia, because it's so easily accessible to and from the Lower Mainland (Vancouver)! *GRIN* Here's some pix from our trips up there...

Here's a picture of my sweetie "hanging out" on our first trip to Nairn Falls Provincial Park, located just outside the little town of Pemberton, British Columbia. We took this daytrip on our "2-years-of-dating anniversary" (April 4, 1998), scoping out a bunch of campsites (including this one!) along the way. This scene by the river was so gorgeous, I couldn't resist getting a picture of my beloved Dave to make the experience complete!
This is a shot of Dave and I by the campfire in Nairn Falls Provincial Park, where we went on an overnight trip with some friends in May '98! (See, it was such a great place that we had to come back!) It was a little chilly at this time of night, so I snuggled up to my favourite guy for warmth during our "Kodak moment!"
Here we are the day after the above picture, at a viewpoint on the Sea-to-Sky Highway (otherwise known at this point as the Duffy Lake Road) in southwestern British Columbia, in an area located between the towns of Pemberton and Lilloet. The cliffs and valleys behind us were absolutely AMAZING...extremely steep, but very picturesque, as you can see!
In the meantime...for s'more pictures of us, don't miss my other "PalmTree's Love" picture pages:
