Return to the Dog House!

Quote of the Blog:
"There was a boy, a very strange, enchanted boy. They say he wandered very far, very far, over land & sea.
A little shy & sad of eye, but very wise was he. And then one day, one magic day, he passed my way.
And while we spoke of many things, fools & kings, this he said to me,
'The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love & be loved in return.'"

Believe it or not, I'm actually blogging for the second time this month=P haha...and yes, I haven't had my last exam yet, so this'll have to be quick.

Trying to study yesterday was crazy...with Christmas in less than a week & the new year fast approaching, my mind keeps wandering to various things - about past, present & future.

I found myself wishing for things from the past - for the openness and trust I found in people I met, for the comfort I found from close friends, for the joy I shared with those around me...It was weird...and I eventually found myself wondering what time in my life I would want to go back to (if I could).

It's odd, cuz the past (even with its downs) seems better than the present at times...and even though the future looks hopeful, there's always that element of doubt...the present though...I guess it's just tough, cuz you can't see what's around the corner.

I'm rambling, aren't I?

Well...I guess I'm just a li'l stressed - a li'l bit about everything. I think my brain's already on vacation & well, I'm desperately trying to force it to remember what I need for tonite's exam. I think this is the first time I've felt this unprepared for an exam - and it's not a good feeling.

*sigh*...I guess I should go hit the books again. Hope most of you are done with your exams (and for those still in high school, hope you're done any homework, assignments, and/or tests you may have before the Christmas break)...for those who aren't, wish you all the best in toughing it out for the last few days!

Tired & exhausted beyond belief,
     Angela

Wow...crazy as it is, I haven't blogged for almost 2 months!!! And crazy as it is, I've still got another exam this Tuesday nite!!! Aiya!!! The madness, I tell you!!!

But yeah, I'm back at res after being home for the past week or so...but yeah, unfortunately my brain still feels a li'l fried due to excessive amounts of drilling for exams...but at least I got to take it a li'l easier this weekend.

Unfortunately, I still haven't gone skating this winter - I was gonna go tonite, but it was a li'l too chilly out to do so...but man, I'm not gonna complain when I got a delicious warm meal, a movie & a bowl of mint chocolate ice cream=D hehe...

But yes...for those of you who heard about my outdoor modernist floating object that was out on display on campus this past month or so...I finally got to take it down - and hey! All the trouble I had with the fishing wire, etc. paid off, cuz it's all still in one piece!!! hehe...yeah...I was sooooo sick of it when I finished it, but knowing that it survived more than 3 weeks in our winter weather, I'm pretty happy=D The only problem now is where to hang it...unless I hang it in my closet forever=P

But yes, I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas - especially if I don't get to say it in person! I hope this Christmas will be one that you can enjoy with the people you love & care for...and a season in which you can reflect & realize that we are all truly blessed in one way or another=)

May love, joy & peace be with you always,
     Angela
