Hong Kong

On March 1st myself and some peoples took a bus to Hong Kong to sort out visa things and maybe meet Jackie Chan. Chan was a no-show, but we did fix up our Visa requirements.
Hong Kong's a pretty sweet place, and a good respite from China. It's surprising how much you miss things like speaking English to strangers and sensible driving practice. Bit expensive compared to the mainland, but a fun place to visit for a day.

Hangin' About
Hong Kong is surrounded by lots of water. This is me and Funny just about to catch the Star Ferry to the main bit of Hong Kong. Once there, we took the hill tram up the top of whatever the hill is called, which had a Madame Tussaud's and a Ripley's Believe It Or Not. I didn't go into either because they were too expensive, but they had some wax figures near the entrance.

This is me next to the reanimated corpse of Benny Hill. Sadly there wasn't a Benny Hinn wax droid.
Then I had my photo taken with some politician guy... maybe the Prime Minister of China. Or the President, I'm not sure. As you can see I was really thrilled to meet his wax likeness.

This is me being handsome atop the roof of that place. The view was pretty nice, and we were able to make out at least 30% of it through the fog and pollution.

All of the above pictures were taken by Chris on his camera. I bought a digital camera while I was there, but unfortunately it was just before we left so the pictures I got are sorta boring. Anyway, here they are.

The Harbour
Some pics of Hong Kong harbour, the biggest harbour in the world, and quite possibly the Universe.

The Bus
The majestic view from inside a genuine Hong Kong bus.
