Submitting your own ratings or reviews

  • 1. What to rate

    Any story available for download on the Internet that can be viewed with the Kamishibai program from Otakuworld. Note that this also includes stories only available on personal websites (but please provide the link).

  • 2. Checklist

    Title of the story
    Names of the author & artist(s)
    One picture from the story (preferably one that wasn't used in the OW preview)
    Icons from my list, or your own design, to depict the content
    Summary of the plot; not too spoily
    Review - what you think about it

    Optional extras are:
    Grades in any system you want
    A caption for the picture. (You can see them when you move the cursor over an image and wait). This can be a joke, a witty comment, or just describing what's in the picture.
    Your profile stating what kind of stories your like, to help people with similar tastes. Also include your grading system here (if any).
    An alias if you're afraid of being flamed.

  • 4. My policy on posting

    I reserve the right to refuse a submission, spellcheck it, cut it down or edit out swearwords.

    I will not post anyone's e-mail next to their review, I will only post it in their reviewer profile if they specifically request it, and I will post ratings under fake names whenever asked.

    The writer of a review may at any time request to have it taken down.

  • 5. Reviewers' "I like this" icon
    If you post several reviews, you can make (like Rebo did) or recieve (like Alex-chan did) a special icon that you can put in the grades field of stories you like. It can be any story rated here, not just the ones you did. Of course, you can tell me to post it next to your own stories too, but it will make you look pretty selfish. ^_-

  • 6. The Pointy Stick Of Doom! (a.k.a. the Keep It Away With A Big Stick icon)
    You can give the Stick to any story you don't like (even the already rated ones), but you need to provide a review stating why. Alternately you can make your own "I dont' like this" icon and give it out to stories without further explanations.

    The reason for this is that I want a review to be an opinion of a specific person, not a statistic.
