Projects

Stuff I've created that may be of some use to you.

I'm a developer by trade, using primarily Visual Basic for the last 5-6 years.  Along the way, I've developed a few tools, bits, and pieces for my own use.  I've also developed software that serves no "practical" purpose, but I like it anyway.  Here you will find any projects that I have decided to make public.  Some of the images lead to pages about the individual projects.

Note: Due to recent bandwidth restrictions by GeoCities, most of my projects are now hosted in the files section of my YahooGroup

After scouring the web for what should be a fairly simple template. I decided that I would just make one myself. It's a simple Word '97 template with some code behind it, good for making one-at-a-time Jewel Case inserts.

A VB6 Add-in which assists in the creation of "Child Classes". Enables developers to exploit VB's Interface Inheritance support without hours of tedious cut-and paste operations.

Looks and feels like the familiar VB6 "Class Builder Utility".

Source code available.

Of course, like everyone else, I believe that my setup is the best, and must therefore be distributed to the masses. I personally think I have a few innovations here, like the menu-driven interface for choosing your setup.

Modularized for easy multi-player/system configurations.

Switchblade Symphony Cursors

I made these a long time ago, and I still use them.  They were meant to be part of a whole Theme, but I've found that I hate themes, and only ever use the cursors anyway.

A utility to automate the use of custom missions with LucasArts' X-Wing game.  Installs custom mission files, backing and restoring the original mission, clones pilot files, and cleans up after itself when you're done.

A companion piece to the launcher (Which explains the similar logos).  Assists in the preparation of mission reports by gathering kill and accuracy statistics from .plt files.  It includes a basic text editor for editing mission narratives.
