Welcome to the Miss black America Pageant!!! The Miss Black America Pageant was designed to showcase the beauty and talent of the beautiful black woman!!

The Miss Black America Pageant is for black women who are at least 18 years of age and are currently NOT MARRIED and are residents of the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S Virgin Islands.

Participants in the Miss Black America Pageant will compete in:

Personal Interview: 25% Of Overall Score

Talent: 15% Of Overall Score

Fitness: 15% Of Overall Score

Evening Gown: 15% Of Overall Score

Casual Wear: 15% Of Overall Score

Essay: 5% Of Overall Score

Community Service/Appearance: 5% Of Overall Score

People's Choice: 5% Of Overall Score

**********NEWS BULLETIN**********

We are now awarding City/Local titles ONLY!!! Applicants may represent titles such as Miss Black Dallas, Miss Black Chicago, Miss Black Atlanta and Miss Black Miami.

We will begin awarding state titles on April 1, 2005!!! Those who are awarded City/Local titles will be first in line for their state titles!!!

In the event there is more than one lady from the same state who represent different cities, the lady who was first to register will be offered the state title first. If she does not accept the state title, it will be offered to the next eligible applicant. If she accepts the state title, the second lady will be awarded a regional title.
