Sharing the Gospel with people is NOT easy. We do NOT bring people to Christ, God bring people to Christ. God does not need our help, if God wants someone in His kingdom, He will get them there with or with out us.

If you do NOT have a heart for the people who are religiously lost, then LEAVE this site right now. We LOVE Mormons and others who are lost, that is way we made this site; it's the Mormon church we have some issues with.

If you DO NOT know what you believe (as in the Gospel), then you have NO right to share the Gospel with others.

Words to use and words not to use when talking to a Mormon

  • Do not use the word Mormon. Mormon is a general term they get slapped with. Say LDS family.
  • When you say there is one God, they will say, yes there is one God. What Mormons mean that is one God of this world. Say one God of the universe.
  • When you show them John 10:30, I and My Father are one. The will say yes they are one, one in essence or nature. Not identical persons. Do bring up Jesus being God.
  • Do not ask Mormons if they believe in Jesus. They will say yes I believe in Jesus. EVERYONE believes in Jesus, what people mean by this is believe that He exclested. When Christians say believe, they mean believe that His rightouesness is sefficty for Eternal Life. Say do you trust in Jesus's rightoussness will get you Ethernal life.
  • Do not ask Mormons, prove to you that they are Saved. They believe EVERYONE is Saved that is why they have three Heavens. Ask them prove to you that they have Eternal Life. Mormons believe that Saved and Eternal Life are two different things. Everyone gets to go Heaven, but Etheral Life must be erned.
    • PLEASE people DO NOT show Mormons Ephesianss 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." This verse will not work on Mormons. They think of saved and eternal as two differnet things. Everyone is saved, but one has to work to gain eternal life. So only show Mormons the verses that say eternal life.

Introductions

Ask a person do you have a religious background. If they say that they are LDS or Mormon, then you know what words to use and what words to use.

Ask an LDS family member (Mormon) if they have the assure that they will:

  • experessce the fullness of God's glory?
  • experessce the best that God has to offer?
  • have eternal life?

If they are not a member of the LDS family, ask them:

Do you (the person you talking to) have the assurace that you will go to Heaven?

Then, after they answer you ask them, why they have the assurace or why do not they have the assurarce (based on there answer)?

Then get into the Gospel.

Scenario's

Heaven is a perfect place, and only perfect people can enter into Heaven because if an imperfect person where to enter Heaven, it wouldn’t be perfect anymore. So are you perfect? Then how do you expect to get into Heaven?

Imagine this, you are given a perfectly white shirt the day you are born. The goal is to get eternal life you have to keep this shirt perfectly white. Ever time you sin, a stain appears on the shirt. You wash out the stain (saying your sorry), but now that shirt isn’t pure. You come before God have you give Him this old rag, and say this is all I got. Then God says, "I am sorry but that falls short of My (God’s) standard." Then you’re going to burn for eternity because you don’t have a pure white shirt. Then Christ says, "Here take my shirt (My righteousness)."

Not just Mormons like to use James 2:26, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Tell them your aboustly right, faith with out deads (works) is dead. If someone is going around killing and raping people, then he isn't a Christian, but the works are just a byproduct of genuine faith, NOT the basis of it.

Do the pears on a pear tree make it a par tree? No. The tree has to be a pear even if its in three feet of snow. The pear tree makes the pears, the pears do not make it a pear tree. Its the same with faith and deeds. The faith makes the deads, the deads do not maket the faith.

You will see visable evidence that you have resived the gift of ethernal life. But those works will not justify you.

Galatians 2:16, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

So why do we do good deeds? Because we have been given the gift of Eternal Life and the good deeds are the way we say thank you to God for the greatest gift one can receive. When you get a gift, do you not send the person who gave you the gift a thank you letter? But no matter how many deeds we do, it will ever be enough to fully say thank to God, because eternal life is the best gift anyone can receive.

We have meet Mormons who say they do have the assurace of where they will spend eturnity, and you only have to show Christ's righteousness to get Eternal Life. If you meet Mormons who truly belive this then GREAT, but do not stop the conversation. Get into the nature of God or the nature of Jesus, or talk about the Book of Mormon, or how a prohet is tested.

The Mormon church has been getting smarter.

  • Now the church says, God has a body, but His sprit is every where.
  • Mark 12:25, When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. What they mean by this is theres not marriage ceremony in Heaven, thats why we do here on Earth.
