Diagnostic testing

What is it?

An educational psychologist will determine if you have a learning disability in this one-on-one session. Through testing and assessment tools, you will be provided with a full report on your learning disability, what types of careers you should pursue, how you learn best, what areas you have skill and/or ability in and what areas you don’t.

How to sign up?

These sessions are offered weekdays and Saturdays. You must book an appointment by contacting Assessment Services at the University College of the Fraser Valley, (604) 557-4006. You will be told what, if anything, to bring.

You will be given a reference number and will need to contact the Admissions and Records (A&R) department to register and pay for your session. If you call A&R, you will have to pay by credit card. If you are unable to pay by credit card, you can go in person to pay by cash, cheque, debit, etc. A&R have offices on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Mission campuses.

How much does it cost?

The fee for this service is $1195.00. This includes the report and any follow-up sessions required for further testing.
