Portfolio Development Workshops

What is it?

This three-session workshop will teach you why portfolios are useful in getting new jobs, choosing new careers, starting an education, etc. In the first session, you will learn how to put together your own portfolio. The second and third sessions will be for working on your portfolio, follow-up, questions, feedback and finalizing your portfolio.

How to sign up?

You must register yourself in a session. There are about eight sessions per year. To find out about upcoming dates, contact Assessment Services at the University College of the Fraser Valley, (604) 557-4006. You will be told what, if anything, to bring to the first session.

You will be given a reference number and will need to contact the Admissions and Records (A&R) department to register and pay for your session. If you call A&R, you will have to pay by credit card. If you are unable to pay by credit card, you can go in person to pay by cash, cheque, debit, etc. A&R have offices on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Mission campuses.

How much does it cost?

The fee for this service is $150.00 per person. This includes three sessions and any materials required to create the portfolio. Additional follow-up sessions will be available at an extra cost.
