RP channel logs: Solo:
Briana
Note: This
is linked to her storyboards
with Ordici.
[RP]:
(Briana): Briana finished gathering her things and putting them
in to her pack, made sure the shutters of the cottage were shut
up tight and gave one last look around.
[RP]:
(Briana): She had spend the last few days thinking of Ordici, and
of her Uncle Dunrick. Why had her Uncle appeared to Ordici, and
not her? She left the cottage, and set out for the surrounding forest
to camp and clear her head.
[RP]:
Briana looked up at the clear skies, squinting in the bright morning
sun.
[RP]:
Briana said 'At least the weather looks good.
I hope it holds,' she said to herself as she walked deeper
in to the woods, shadows from the trees blocking out the morning
sun.
[RP]:
(Briana): After travelling miles deep in to the forest, Briana set
up her camp next to a clear flowing stream.
[RP]:
Briana said 'I've been away from nature for
too long. I spend far too much time in that cottage of mine. I'm
getting soft.'
[RP]:
Briana muttered 'Is it any wonder Uncle showed
himself to Ordici and not me? He hated being indoors for any long
period of time.'
[RP]:
Briana shook her head.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Talking to yourself isn't a good
sign, Bri. You definitely need to get out of the cottage more often.'
[RP]:
(Briana): Briana spent the next couple of days exploring the forest
and getting reacquainted with the world around her. She tracked
animals, just for fun, and set traps, just to let the critters go.
Unless they were for dinner of course.
[RP]:
(Briana): It was the 3rd night of Briana's trip in to the forest
that the vision came to her. It started as a normal dream, jumping
around to various topics. Ordici, her parents, old friends. Then
the voice came to her...
[RP]:
(Briana): "Briana. Wake up, Bri."
[RP]:
Briana stirred, sitting up, reaching for her dagger and looking
around her.
[RP]:
(Briana): "Oh put that down, Briana,"
the familiar voice said.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Uncle?'
[RP]:
(Briana): Briana stared in shock at the misty form of her Uncle
Dunrick, leaning against a tree, his ever present pipe clutched
between his teeth.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Uncle, how are you here??'
[RP]:
(Briana): Did I teach you nothing, little
one? Life is energy, and energy is all around you. Just as Belar
is all around you" her Uncle told her.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Why have you never shown yourself
to me before?'
[RP]:
(Briana): "There was no reason before
now," he answered simply.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Then why now, Uncle? What is
the reason?'
[RP]:
(Briana): "There was a purpose for my
directing young Ordici to your door that night. It is imperative
that the two of you join bloodlines."
[RP]:
Briana looked surprised at this.
[RP]:
Briana said 'Whatever for?'
[RP]:
(Briana): "I can not say, little one,
only that it must be so. I hope you do not find this a burdensome
task, Briana."
[RP]:
Briana said 'No, Uncle, for he already owns
my heart. However, I do not know that he will feel the same.'
[RP]:
(Briana): Dunrick laughed at this, knowing already how young Ordici
felt, but he would let Briana and the lad figure that out for themselves.
[RP]:
(Briana): "I must leave you now little
one. Know that I am with you, and watch over you. Always."
And with that, his misty figure faded away into the night.
[RP]:
Briana stared, watching her Uncle's spirit fade away, a tear falling
down her cheek.
[RP]:
Briana said 'That's twice you've cried over
your Uncle in the space of a week Briana. Pull yourself together,
this isn't like you at all. Then again, neither is talking to yourself,
idiot girl!' she berated herself.
[RP]:
(Briana): Briana spent the night thinking over the things her Uncle
had said. Why must she join bloodlines with Ordici? What if Ordici
had other plans for his life? What if? What if?
[RP]:
Briana mutters 'What if's will drive me mad.'
[RP]:
(Briana): The next day she gathered her gear and made her way home,
hoping to see Ordici again soon, and wondering if she should tell
him of her Uncle's demand. She thought not. So many questions, and
so few answers.
