are available at any one time?

How does one get from my lodging place
to the school?
Public transportation is easily accesible from the volunteers residence and homestays. To get the school, orphange or health clinic it will cost approxiametly US $ 0.30 one way.
How much can one expect to spend on a daily basis.
Meals at local
restaurants cost less than $2. Expect to spend on
average $4 per day (toiletries, bottled water, bus
rides, lunch and dinner). All volunteers are allowed to use the kitchen at their
lodging place to cook their meals. Remember that the
program includes daily breakfast served at their
lodging place.
What is your
application process like?
The application process is an informal process, to ensure that we can successfully place you in a suitable volunteer assignment.
All, applicants will be notified by email as to
whether their application has been successful.
(1) Complete the Application Form: Fill out the
application form below. Upon receipt of the form we
will assess your suitability for the program.
(2) Contact You: If you are successful we will
then email you a letter of acceptance.
(3) Confirmation: As soon as you have confirmed
your participation we will send to you The
volunteering information package. Once you have
read it and accepted our terms and conditions and we
have answered any questions or concerns that you might
have we proceed to secure your place on the program. The program fee must be
paid at your arrival.

What age do you have to be
to volunteer?
You must be 18 years old and above. There is no upper
limit. You just have to be in good health.
Do you provide any financial support?
We unfortunately are not in a position to offer any
financial support.
What countries do most
volunteers come from?
The majority of volunteers that come through Mosoq
Ayllu are from the United States, Canada, England, and
Australia. We also have smaller numbers of people from
Europe, and New Zealand.
Are
the fees and expenses tax deductible?
No, we are only registered as an organization in Peru.
Do you need travel
insurance?
Yes,
we
require that you have valid travel insurance.
Are there more expenses
once I arrive?
The program costs cover accommodation and daily
breakfasts.
You will need money
for personal expenses, any excursions or sightseeing
and travel expenses.
How
safe is it to volunteer in Peru?
Peru
is generally a safe country.
We work very hard to ensure you are placed in safe
environments while volunteering.
How many volunteers are
there on site at the same time?
This can vary greatly between 2 to 6 each month.
