Who
Can Volunteer
Almost anybody can be a volunteer with the Mosoq Ayllu program. We welcome people from all countries to share in the Perivuan way of life and to learn our customs and way of life. What we require from our volunteers is enthusiasm, open mindness and a willingness to help and learn.
If you;
are over 18 years of age
are in good physical and mental health
have a willingness and desire to learn about Perivuan cutlure and way of life.
have a basic level of spanish (is an assest but is not required) and;
have valid Health Insurance for the time you will be volunteering
we welcome you to join our program.
For Whom Is Mosoq Ayllu?
Mosoq Ayllu is for people with a genuine interest in serving others. We need a helpful, adaptable, creative and enthusiast person.
Mosoq Ayllu is for people interested in improving their command of the Spanish language while teaching English or doing other volunteer work.
Mosoq Ayllu is for people who truly wish to experience an interesting local culture and are interested in becoming acquainted with the everyday life of common Peruvian families.
Mosoq Ayllu is for those interested in discovering new abilities and developing ideas of their own.
Mosoq Ayllu is for willingly people who are more interested in a personal experience than in a highly specialized type of work. We get involved in different aspects of community work without taking away jobs from local people.
Mosoq Ayllu is for people who are able to adapt to ocasionally challenging living conditions in Peruvian cities as well as life in rural areas. Sometimes volunteers can work as a team, sometimes independently. Either way, volunteers will live with a local family and maintain a close contact with local culture.
