Volunteering at 'SOS Aldeas Infantiles' orphanage

Many of  the orphans have come from homes of domestic violence, many of them don't have any relatives. Poverty nowadays leaves many children abandoned. These orphanages in Peru provide orphans with daily meals, a bed and schooling but they need also to feel people give them attention, time and love.

Depending on your own skills and interests, you can teach songs, music, dance, cooking, or any number of activities, or generally just spend quality time with the children.

As a volunteer you will work at the orphanage from Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons. At least a functional Spanish level is required for applying.

Minimum term of commitment is 1 month.

Positions available at: Huancayo, Masamari (Rainforest), Trujillo, Chiclayo.
